Honest Game announced several key partnerships that support the education technology solution’s connection to high schools and athletic departments across the country.
The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) as well as Athletic Director Associations in Texas, and New York have partnered with Honest Game to encourage data-driven solutions that help student-athletes meet requirements needed to play college athletics.
These recent collaborations demonstrate a recognition that educators and school administrators can benefit from innovative tools that help drive learning outcomes and identify best fit opportunities for all students, regardless of their athletic abilities.
“We know that navigating the complex and constantly changing rules to play college sports is incredibly time consuming and difficult,” said Kim Michelson, CEO and Co-Founder of Honest Game. “Completing a school’s registration process requires a ton of administrative time, with estimates of 40 hours for the initial application alone.”
“With Honest Game, high school administrators not only save time and money, they can drive student learning outcomes and mitigate risk for schools by ensuring all of their students have a step-by-step plan to meet requirements before college athletics. This frees Athletic Directors up to focus on their programs and the things that matter most,” she said.
Dr. Mike Blackburn, Executive Director of the NIAAA recently recommended Honest Game to its members.
“Honest Game can assist student-athletes and families, as well as school counselors and athletic administrators, with complexities of future college academic eligibility. By providing guidance and a course of action, Honest Game helps navigate nuances in grade calculation, subject comparison and understanding test scores. We are proud to recommend Honest Game to the NIAAA Membership,” he said.
The Honest Game team will attend the NIAAA’s flagship conference on December 10-14, 2021 in Denver, Colorado.
State and National Athletic Director Associations partnering with Honest Game include:
National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA)
The NIAAA champions the profession of administering athletic programs in our nation’s high schools and middle schools.
Texas High School Athletic Directors Association (THSADA)
As the principal advocate for all athletic administrators in the State of Texas, THSADA exists to promote, facilitate and recognize all athletic administrators and is the largest state association of its type in the country.
New York State Athletic Administrators Association (NYSAAA)
NYSAAA is dedicated to promoting the professional growth and image of interscholastic athletic administrators throughout New York State and preserving the educational nature of interscholastic athletics and the place these programs have in the curricula of every school in New York State.
