Michelle Engelhardt

Michelle Engelhardt is the Senior Manager of Academics & Compliance at Honest Game, where she helps schools, student-athletes, and families navigate the academic eligibility and recruiting process with confidence. Drawing on more than a decade of experience in education and college athletics, Michelle is dedicated to helping students achieve both their academic and athletic goals.

Michelle brings extensive recruiting and student-athlete development experience from her career as a Division I women’s basketball coach, most recently serving as an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at William & Mary. Her firsthand experience evaluating, recruiting, and mentoring prospective student-athletes gives her a unique perspective on what it takes to succeed at the next level. Before coaching in college, Michelle was an elementary school teacher and coached high school volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse, helping hundreds of students reach their athletic potential while prioritizing academic success.

A former four-year starter for the University of Maryland, Baltimore County women’s basketball team, Michelle earned both her bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in early childhood education from UMBC. Following her collegiate career, she played two seasons of professional basketball in France and Australia before returning to the classroom and sidelines to continue mentoring the next generation of student-athletes.
