Barb Steffen

Barb Steffen is the Integrated Marketing Manager at Honest Game, where she leads marketing strategy, content, and communications that help schools, student-athletes, and families better understand academic eligibility and college opportunities. She is passionate about translating complex topics into clear, engaging resources that empower educators and students to make informed decisions.

Drawing on more than a decade of experience in marketing, public relations, and brand communications, Barb develops integrated campaigns, thought leadership, strategic partnerships, and educational content that advance Honest Game’s mission and expand its national impact.

Prior to joining Honest Game, Barb held marketing and communications roles with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) New York, the Center for Architecture Foundation, and SmithGroup. A former NCAA Division I field hockey student-athlete and team captain at the University of Connecticut, Barb has also spent nearly two decades coaching youth and high school field hockey, helping student-athletes pursue success both on the field and in the classroom. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Connecticut.
